Cyril:

Cyril is a member of [[Guild of Augurers]]. He started playing Realms in December of 1997. Cyril was elected as Guild Second, and later was promoted to Guild First during an event where the [[Guild of Augurers]] was removed from the game due to the actions of the former leader. He served on [[The Symposium]], and then became an immortal. After being an immortal for just under a year, he took a break from the game. He returned a year later, and re-opened the [[Cracked Cask Casino]].

One of the things Cyril is blamed for is ruining the economy of the game, most often attributed to the use of gambling [[bots]]. Cyril is considered a guest of the [[Loungers]].

spell is hostile to all
creatures in the room, and
will cause them to engage
the caster in combat.

This is probably the most effective augurer combat spell for mobs. The Smuag 1.4a source code shows that the damage is based on a random number between hp/7 to hp/14 which averages to around hp/10. The spell can be cast 2 to 3 times per combat round with minimal lag. However, it does use a good bit of mana (35 at avatar).
