Born on the belief by some that all comes to an eventual end, '''Kardis''' seeks to destroy everything around her and bring this end sooner. She sees none of the beauty bestowed on the world by [[Adendra]], instead sees it only as an obstacle in her path.  She is said to be the cause of great plagues, fires and earthquakes which have brought many lives to an end. She sees no need to have hope or faith in anything and shows great disdain to those that choose to follow in her path.

Kardis only offers favor to those who keep closely to the line of [[alignment|neutral]] and [[alignment|evil]]. Her worshipers must belong to the more demonic races ([[Half-Orc]]s, [[Half-Ogre]]s and [[Half-Troll]]s) and must be [[Thief|Thieves]], [[Warrior]]s or [[Augurer]]s. Killing is the only way to appease this dark goddess, the means to the end does not matter. She frowns on those who properly [[bury]] the remains of their foes and revels in the desecration of graves.
