| Sometimes, being invisible or hidden is not a good thing. For example vendor [[mobile|mobs]] won't sell anything to people they can't see and the etiquette requires for you to be visible when talking on public communication channels: some players listening may not even have access to [[detect invis]] due to their class or current level and it's common courtesy to let others identify you in such a case.
