It's a moderately easy fight for any avatar and, most importantly, if you stun him it's a lot easier. Otherwise, he summons a mob that is actually quite difficult. an engraved rampaging gryphon etched into the pewter.  The extended
talons each grasp a glowing amber pearl.  When worn, the rampaging
gryphon clings to the rim of the ear.
