The tentacles look as if they may be the size of your waist
around!  You had better run away quickly before they get a hold
of you and snap you in two.  Ooops...too late...

A tentacle appears to be between level 15 and 20.
A tentacle looks like a monster, and follows the ways of the warrior.

It's affected by sanctuary and fireshield. The tangle tree has a couple of these to keep him company.
