Description/Exam

This green and brown mantle has been hand woven to form a luxurious, soft and
incredibly durable cloak. Threaded carefully around a platinum chain, the
stitching is nearly invisible. A tiny clasp allows it be opened and fits around
the neck. The opening is quite small however and is only wearable by those of
slight stature.

Notes

A very lovely halfling-only item, but also quite difficult to make. You'll need to get these three items and also part with 50m in gold.

1. a strip of green troll fur

from Vroshna on the Eastern Trade Route.

2. a finely engraved platinum necklace

Take an av or two to the Falcon's Nest Tavern on the Western Trading Route and sit in the south-west corner (with the fireplace). Wait for Matinah to appear (around 8pm) and kill him quickly. When he dies, there's about a 50% chance that he'll drop the key to the wallsafe (the message that says the key has dropped through the floorboards means it didn't pop). Get the key, go 2n and unlock w, w. To actually go down into the safe though, you'll want to detrap it, pick it and also be of a small race (pixie, dwarf, halfling, gnome). Then you can just get the necklace and also the lupin that you'll need for the next step.

3. the green cloak of the highwayman

Using the a freshly cut purple lupin you got from the safe, run Dennis Moore. He'll pop the green cloak.

Go to Gloawan, just across from the tavern on the WTR, with all three items in your inventory. Just give 50m coins Gloawan and he'll take the requisite items from you and leave you with the O'laski mantle.
