The 30th Anniversary quest is for those who are:
up for a bit of nostalgia
ready for some action
want some nice prizes
.
Port 7000 will be open at reboot on 11 July 2024, running a pre-shattering
version of the game, restored and all glossed up for your questing pleasure,
and remain open until reboot the morning of 26 July 2024. You will be able to 
create a new characters on this port, and level them up for the quest 
challenge. There is a bounty list of 30 mobs to get KB on with your quest 
character, in a similar fashion to the style of Gonnil's awesome Thoth's world 
quests. The object is simple, level up and kb as many mobs on the "help 
bounty" list posted on port 7000 before the end of the quest. Be sure to 
declare your port 7000 questor to me. The IP limit will be 2, so you can drag 
a second along if you like, but only KBs on your declared questor will count 
for the quest. Multiple KBs of the same bounty mob on the same declared quest 
character still count as just one KB.

Prizes will be awarded in the evening of 26JUL2024, 30th Anniversary of RoD.

Mechanics

Between July 11-26th 2024 you could play the original RoD game on port 7000 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of RoD.

-Some notable mechanics included
- Low level melee skills like Kick / Cuff greatly powered up.
- Guilds were accessible regardless of class and filled with a number of donated items.
