Information

The Cascading Vortex is a light which is carried by the Mist Dragon in Knights of the Round.

The Cascading Vortex is programmed so that only one can exist at a time, and when it fails to regen, a new one will be available on the Mist Dragon.

At one point, the Vortex was scrapped, and this led to a race to the Mist Dragon, where a new one was successfully recovered by the same people who lost the original.

At one time there were two Cascading Vortices due to an original bug in the program however since that time 1 has been lost to a means other than a failed regen and as such only one still exists in game.

Perhaps tragically, the item virtually is never used in practice, largely for fear of loss.
