Spiral blast

A powerful, spinning blast of coloured gas conjured by
an Augurer, it attacks every target in the area.  The
spell is hostile to all creatures in the room,  and
will cause them to engage the caster in combat.

Information

This is probably the most effective augurer combat spell for mobs. The Smuag 1.4a source code shows that the damage is based on a random number between hp/7 to hp/14 which averages to around hp/10. The spell can be cast 2 to 3 times per combat round with minimal lag. However, it does use a good bit of mana (35 at avatar).
