Description/Exam

They appear to be quite old. Ancient even. The styling is not like any modern
work but it certainly isn't obsolete. These gauntlets are an amazing example of
quality dwarven engineering. Forged primarily from Deep Lode Stone, gives the
thick red iron a magnetic field and makes these heavy, gauntlets a bit awkward
to wear despite their full flexibility and comfortable fit. They must be a part
of some set of relics from the fabled Deep Lode Forge.

To Obtain: Travel to The Shelter and the end of The Alley in Edel and attack Kurt Coinspinner. Ratboy will assist so you may wish to kill him first. At some point Kurt will kick you out into the ally and say the following. 

Kurt Coinspinner yells 'Lefty! Quit looking for that other gauntlet in the rough terrain.
I need you here right now to kill Playername!'

At that point Lefty will appear outside, kill lefty to get the Left Gauntlet of Red Iron. 

A tough looking member of a dwarven gang is standing in your way.
Lefty exclaims 'What do you want on your tombstone, Playername?!'
Lefty is DEAD!!
Lefty catches his guts in his hands as they pour through his fatal wound!
You get 100500 gold coins from the corpse of Lefty.
The corpse of Lefty holds:
    a left gauntlet of red iron

Search every room in the Rough Terrain in the NorthWest area of SMR for the Right Gauntlet. 

Your search reveals a right gauntlet of red iron!

While wearing the left gauntlet, pick up the right gauntlet. You will then be equipped with the gauntlets of the deep lode. 

You wear a left gauntlet of red iron on your hands. 
You get a right gauntlet of red iron.
You wear gauntlets of the deep lode on your hands.
