Description

A small armadillo with a ruby embedded in its forehead is rustling the leaves here.

This critter probably isn't an armadillo after all, it's eating fallen leaves off of the forest floor and the bright red ruby is actually a part of the little animal's head. The overlapping plates of thick leathery skin protect it from attacks as it moves into and out of the cover of fallen leaves.
