Botting is the running of a character using triggers or scripts while there is
no one attending it. While this activity is not illegal in itself, bots are
subject to the same rules and policies as playing characters. Please be
familiar with the laws governing staking and spamming. You will be held
accountable for any act committed by your bot.

Definition

Botting means to do some automated task on the mud using triggers or scripts. It generally refers to unattended use of these triggers. The most common types of bots are golding bots, brew bots and sell bots.
