This spell utilizes a Cleric's ability to cast an
aura around themselves, enabling their group to
benefit from a spell's effect while they are in
the room. Conviction will improve the group's armor
class and damage roll, stacking with other spells.
This spell is only available to Clerics following the
Deity group Arcana Eviae.

The Cleric must be in good standing with their Deity to
cast this spell.

  • Syntax: c conviction
  • Type: Support
  • Valid Targets: Self only
  • Cost: 50 mana
  • Other Effects: Grants +2 damroll and -20 AC to you and any members of your group who are in the same room as you.
  • Duration: 165 rds
  • Mininum stance: standing
  • Restrictions: Only Clerics devoted to Arcana Eviae deities.

Spell Messages

  • When you successfully cast on yourself: The conviction in your beliefs is increased, making you more powerful.
  • When you fail to cast on yourself: You failed.
  • When the spell expires: The conviction in your beliefs wanes and you feel less powerful.

Notes

Requires the caster to have good favor to cast successfully.
