HP HITPOINT HITPOINTS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hp is an abbreviation for hitpoints. Hp are vital for a character to function
normally. They are a quantative measurement of your life force. At creation,
a character begins with a base hp. This base permanently increases with each
level. It may be temporarily increased with the aid of equipment. The more
hp a character has, the longer they will live during combat. When a
character's hp reach zero, they become incapacitated. Death occurs at -10 hp.

It is important to note that direct combat is only one way to lose hp. Affects
from spells, such as poison, will also negatively impact hp. In order to
regain hp, you can rest or use skills/potions.

Definition

Essentially hit points is the 'health points' you use to take damage from attacks, there's not much to add:

  • The health gain every time a character gains a level depends upon its Constitution stats
  • When sleeping or resting you can restore your health quickly if your character's neither hungry nor thirsty
