Deep in the heart of the Sea of Sorrows, Winterlight Island
has long gone unnoticed to those who live on the mainland.
Small and placid, only a single settlement rests upon the
shore, the homes of villagers who are content to eke out
their simple lives in peace and obscurity.

Yet recently, disturbing rumours have been heard across the
land...tales of snow unending, villagers fleeing their homes,
and the mysterious appearance of a vast glacial palace.

Only the bravest of adventurers may dare to penetrate the
secrets of the Island's darkest hour. It will take superior
cunning, strength, and skill--not to mention luck--just to
survive within the icy grasp of magic and darkness...

  • Portal points in the Otherland Geo are few, so while there may be some portal points within this area, they are probably not practical due to the effects of astral disruption. The ice troll drops a nice entry level mace for Barbarians.
