While he does not drop any items, there is a small pot of wax in the room with him that you are unable to pick up until you kill him. There's also usually a short stub of a candle beneath the pot of wax that you can take without killing Rheenee.

He can make a few items for you if you have the right ingredients.

Give him a roughly cut ruby and a tiny, clear, crystal bowl and he will give you a tiny, red stained, crystal bowl
