- Note: 'Starter Equipment' section is intended for brand new players starting RoD.
- Note: 'Starter Equipment' section is intended to be a basic guide for newer players with with minimal alternative avatars, limited access to resources or little additional support.
- Note: Whilst there are immediately better items (see next section) with low monetary value or items that can indeed could be soloed with advanced techniques/high geared avatars, they have been excluded from this section for purposes of supporting players newer to RoD seeking to obtain their own equipment.
- Note: Limited testing was undertaken with an Avatar Paladin with access to tankset and an alt with skill/spell to poison such as venomous touch, poison weapon, puinsean or wasp talon.
- Note: Generally the gear recommended in this section is split as described focus of: HP, DR and MN. Equipment fitting multiple categories are only called up once. See individual items for specific restrictions.
