This spell simply raises your hitroll and save vs spell. The amount depends on the level of the caster - it gains 1 point every 8 levels ending with +6 HR, -6 vs spell at avatar level. If you have minor invocation cast on you it will replace bless, and vice versa.
If you say the word "blessing" in her presence, Sonoria will cast a +6 bless spell on you (have at least 100 gold coins to give her). Very useful for lowbies.
