Wisdom, WIS in your 'score', represents your character's wisdom and
ability to incorporate learning.

Wisdom reflects a character's willpower, insight, and intuition. A
character is much more aware of his surroundings with higher wisdom.

Among other things, wisdom affects:

  > The number of practices a character gains each time it levels
  > The mana a character gains each time it levels, though
intelligence affects this much more heavily
  > The ability to remove a trap or poison a weapon
  > The saving throws versus wands, spells, and staves

Wisdom is the prime attribute of the Druid, Cleric, and Augurer.

Wisdom is the secondary attribute of the Mage, Ranger, and
Paladin
