Area Information

Description

A thick wedge of dark leafy trees separate the Forgotten Woods
from the daunting peaks of the Southern Mounts and the perils
of the marshes and swamps. Laying west of Darkhaven, it is
the quickest route from the City of Light to the Blood Sea.

Following the Shattering, some of the Realms' more timid
races, including the gnomes and halflings have taken shelter
among the thick green leaves of these somber woods.

Area Notes

Aggressive mobs wander much of the area, many of which can detect hidden/invis. There is a nasty panther which resides in the few rooms to the southwest of the entrance to Tree of Life.

Two thirds of the area have the same room name, "The Misery of Mourning" (basically the whole left side). Generally a bad place to have to [[|Corpse retrieval|CR]], so if you're in trouble be sure of where you are.

The only notable mob is Salix, wandering around somewhere.
