Shadowed figures rise from their watery graves... - Astral/Portal Point: Slaad, Green troll, Shambling mound
Description
The old marsh lies far to the southwest of Darkhaven. Once a part of Haon Dor, heavy rain and lack of drainage created the murky bog. As the continent tipped and leaned during the Shattering, the marsh began to flood and expand. The detritus and water from the rising of the Southern Mountains pushed the edges of the marsh out to encompass the southwest corner of the continent. The Old Marsh still lies at the heart of this sprawling mass, where trolls and other vile beings make their dwelling.
