Be aware that a character does have a gold limit. However unlikely that
you will reach it, if you end up with negative gold, you will not be
reimbursed.
Please be advised that no immortal will reset your gold level to 0. It is
your personal responsibility to monitor your gold. Keep in mind that
rolling over your gold will render your characters gold count useless.
Please be careful.
The current limit is:
9,223,372,036,854,775,807

Definition

Gold is the money, the cash and the currency of the game. If you want to buy anything from a shop, you'll need gold. The normal way that you get gold is buy killing mobs that are carrying it. You can also use midas touch on an item to turn it into money.

The use of the name 'gold' can be a little confusing at first. Items with gold in the name are not necessarily have a higher gold value than those that don't.

When players trade gold, they often do it in large amounts. 1k is 1,000 gold and 1mil or 1m is 1,000,000 and 1bil or 1b is 1,000,000,000.
