Description

Mouth always curved in a ready smile, tawny-eyed Velistia sits among a disarray
of musical instruments and tuning tools. Her dark silvery hair is bound up in a
loose beaded braid, and it hangs down her strong back, the strands drifting in
the currents. Sun and sea have given her malachite complexion a burnish of deep
bronze, and her hair brilliant white highlights. She wears a long sheer emerald
gown and bracelets of thin silver, studded with opal bits. Velistia constructs
harps and lutes from Maarmrillan tradition and insists on only using greatwhale
gut to string these exquisite instruments. As she works, she hums to herself a
few of the new tunes her twin brother has composed.
