Mephie
Mephie is a longtime player of Realms of Despair who was honored in 2005 with the rank of Hero.
Early History
Mephie was an active player by the late nineties and possibly earlier. In the late nineties she was partners with Kestal. Together, the couple led a kind of unofficial non-ordered troup of runners and explorers. They were the leaders of the first non-ordered Merlin run, which was a major event at the time. At length, Kestal was balzhured, and Mephie was partially Balzhured with him. Thus Mephie has the honor of being a recognized Hero and yet also a former Balzhur victim.
Later History
Mephie continued to play after Kestal departed. At length, she entered an alliance with Zwanth. Together with a number of other dedicated players, she campaigned for the creation of a new order, which would have been the newest order in the Realms. This order never became a reality, however.
This author himself is not very well familiar with the later accomplishments of Mephie, thus the above account must be considered very rudimentary and unexhaustive.
