Mystic Armor of Nidaros
Lore
Dearest Shandra
Night falls once again and I feel I am even further from returning to the safety of the vale. This accursed quest of mine to find the lost armor is becoming a fools chase. Town after town I visit in search, and in each town I receive the same reply. It seems no one has heard of the Mystic Armor of Nidaros. My supplies are beginning to run short, and I tire of sleeping in road ditches. I fear I might turn back soon, and give up this hopeless idea.
Captain,
I feel as though this mission I have taken upon myself is pointless. After months of searching I have nothing to show for it other then blisters and and a deflated sense of hope. I am getting the distinct impression that this Mystic Armor is lost forever. Even now, I find myself in a strange cold land, where nothing seems to be as it is at home.
If i find no sign here, I will turn back and head home,
Fellow Gnomes,
The strangest thing happened to me. I was finally making some headway with the Mystic Armor, when I noticed people I had spoken to had already forgotten me. It was strange indeed. I decided to retrace my steps and visit the people I first found clues from, and it seems to have solved the problem, for now at least. I will send more info on this strange occurence when I find it out.
My fellow Tyrrhenu,
I have found him, the infamous dark druid. Twas but for luck that I stumbled upon his lair. Surrounded by his piles of wealth, he has staked and pitted corpses, like scarecrows, hanging from the walls! I could not summon the courage to approach him in this dark and horrible place. I decided to quickly make my way out and ask for assistance.
Please help aid me in the task of vanquishing this foe.

You say 'Mystic Armor of Nidaros' Morganna says 'Oh, yes yes yes, that is why you are here, of course!' Morganna says 'Couldn't you have come at a better time, I have been so busy of late.' Morganna looks at you, then answers herself before you can attempt to speak. Morganna says 'It's ok, I suppose, I am always so busy.' Morganna's face fills with a glimpse of pride Morganna says 'Yes, I was one of the few Tyrrhenu tasked to hide the Mystic Armor.' Morganna says 'Unfortunately, I left my niece to transport it for me to our destination,' Morganna says 'Things did not go well for her. She was attacked en route! It was all so tragic.' Morganna says 'You would have to ask her about any more details then that.' Morganna peers out to the street, a sad look washes over her face Morganna says 'I lost contact with my niece shortly after that.' Morganna says 'I do hear occasional tales from passing merchants, that she has married a tradesman, and become a merchant herself.' Morganna sighs aloud, thinking of the past. Morganna says 'If you find her, tell her I miss her.'
You say 'Morganna misses you' Valine looks into your eyes, a look of utter shock appears on her face. Valine says 'Oh my. I was beginning to think that would never catch back up with me.' Valine looks to the ground, from side to side, obviously nervous. Valine says 'Yes, Morganna is my aunt. When the tyrrhenu elders decided she would be one of the lucky keepers, she trusted me to transport it for her. Me!!' Valine sighs, bringing to mind the painful memories. Valine says 'I was so excited. So nervous. So careless.' Valine says 'I made no attempt to hide my tracks, not anything.' Valine says 'It was not long before they found me, those horrible pirates.' Valine says 'They beat me up pretty badly, and stole the Mystic Armor, saying it was for their Captain.' Valine looks you in the eyes, her frailties barely being held back. Valine says 'I tried to forget, I came here and met Perne, things seemed to be going in the right direction.' Valine says 'But I knew this day would come. Please make up for my mistake, please.' Valine smiles at you, and bows.

You say 'Mystic Armor of Nidaros' Catarine says 'Ahh, yes, hello Playername. It is good to see you.' Catarine says 'I am glad you have taken to the task of reclaiming our fabled Armor.' Catarine says 'As far as I am aware, the piece I was entrusted with is still safe.' Catarine says 'I let one of my oldest and dearest friends hold onto it for me.' Catarine says 'He is the leader of a Tyrrhenu settlement, tell him Catarine sent you.' Catarine smiles and curtsies.
You say 'Catarine sent me' Col Leafeye smiles at you, taking your hand in his, and shaking vigerously. Col Leafeye says 'Well good Tyrrhenu, it is great to see you here!' Col Leafeye says 'It would seem as though you are just in time to solve a problem for me!' Col Leafeye says 'The monster who managed to get the Armor from me is the same monster who got my precious Shy Emerald!' Col Leafeye stands back, smiling widely at you.

You say 'Mystic Armor of Nidaros' Rexlin smiles briefly and looks around the pub, glancing at its occupants one by one. Rexlin says 'So it be the mystic armor of magicks lost you are after is it.' Rexlin says 'Aye, I was charged with hiding one of the pieces I was!' Rexlin says 'But I didn't think it safe to be keeping it in a place like this...' Rexlin glares to the pub's inhabitants again, making sure not to be heard. Rexlin says 'So I put it into the protection of an old friend of mine.' Rexlin says 'One of the finest Tyrrhenu I have ever met.' Rexlin says 'I have given it to him in exchange for this here ticket.' Rexlin gives you a merchandise ticket. Rexlin says 'He wanders about the great mountains. A fine trader he is.'
You give a merchandise ticket to Fidalstix. Fidalstix says 'Oh yes, I figured this day would come eventually.' Fidalstix says 'It seems Rexlin has hired you to retrieve his prize for him!' Fidalstix says 'Well there is a problem with that, you see.' Fidalstix says 'I thought with the importance of the item I should not risk having it with me during those long mountain passes.' Fidalstix grins to himself, thinking of the long cold nights. Fidalstix says 'So I left it with a dear old friend of mine. He is known to be more stable' Fidalstix says 'Bring Hiroshi this ticket, out in Edo, and he will give it to you.' Fidalstix gives you a merchandise ticket. Fidalstix smiles and bows before you. Fidalstix examines merchandise Fidalstix thanks you heartily.
You give a merchandise ticket to Hiroshi. Hiroshi says 'Oh? What's this? You have been sent to pick up Fidal's old cape, have you...' Hiroshi says 'Well, how am I to know I can trust you? Maybe you have captured my old friend and just stole this ticket from his dead body!' Hiroshi stands back, rubbing his chin, thinking. Hiroshi says 'I got it! This will work out well' Hiroshi says 'My bank has been slow of late. Very slow.' Hiroshi looks out to the Edo streets, morosely. Hiroshi says 'It would seem that a being has been seen prowling around the rice fields.' Hiroshi says 'It has been slowing the farmers production greatly.' Hiroshi stands back, thinking of the right words. Hiroshi says 'Here is what I propose. You go take care of this untimely nuisance,' Hiroshi says 'And I will find you trustworthy enough to give you the package.' Hiroshi says 'And if you fail, I will not see you again, so I win either way.' Hiroshi says 'Go to the rice fields and deal with him! Bring me back proof.' Hiroshi grins and points to the door.
