Description

Master Kosuke is an aged man, with a long flowing beard and a slight stoop,
caused by years of training so that he may one day have become a blademaster.
That day never came, so he focussed his remaining years on renewing his bond
with his son. Tragedy struck, however, and his son was taken by the sea. So
here he sits, each day, awaiting his son's return home, even though he knows
in his heart it is a fruitless pursuit.

Master Kosuke breaths in deeply and tells his tale.
Master Kosuke says 'It seems like only yesterday, but I suppose
it was an eternity ago that I lost my son. He was a good boy.
A strong lad. But was not strong enough for the ravages of the
sea. He had told me that morning that he had found a new
fishing spot east of the channel, in the depths of the Azure
sea. I had warned him against it, knowing the dangers, but he
was headstrong. It was the last I ever heard of him, and now I
watch the sea, and wait for whatever is out there to take me
too, so that I may be with my son once again.'
Master Kosuke dabs his cheeks with an old cloth.
Master Kosuke says 'Thank you for listening to the tale of an old
man. If you do enter the maelstrom, may the gods be with you.'
