  • Syntax: cast 'magnetic thrust'

Help File

Magnetic Thrust, much like Sonic Resonance, allows the
casting Mage to control the nature of space and time in
the immediate locale of his victim. In this sorcery, the
Mage forms a wedge of magnetic energy within the body
of the victim. As the spell progresses, the victims
organs are violently rent and internal tissues are torn.
The resulting pain and damage are formidable, indeed.

Information

This is a very powerful attack spell, but only against very low level opponents. It's capped at level 29 (ie. a level 50 magnetic thrust won't do any more damage than a level 29 one) and suffers a big penalty (damage is reduced by two thirds) if the victim's "save vs spell" throw succeed. The level cap affects this check too, so casting it against opponents above, say, level 38 won't usually do much damage. Mages obtain this spell at level 37, according to their slist...

After the shattering its cost was set to 60 mana point.
