True sight overcomes any impediment to vision so that you can see. If you've been [[blindess|blinded]] or [[gouge|gouged]], or if the room is dark and you don't have a light, then you would not normally see anything. True sight will counter this for its duration.

  • Syntax: cast 'true sight'
  • Casting message: Your vision is elevated to the highest plane.
  • Expiration message: Your vision descends to the material plane.
  • Failure message: You failed.

Help File

True sight confers the caster with a very brief
immunity to blindness (from attacks such as gouge
or the blindness spell itself). While under the
spell's effect, the caster continues to see. Be warned
that when the spell wears off the caster will become
blind should the effects of the blinding attack still
remain. NOTE: True sight cannot be cast upon anyone
but the caster themselves.

Information

True sight overcomes any impediment to vision so that you can see. If you've been blinded or gouged, or if the room is dark and you don't have a light, then you would not normally see anything. True sight will counter this for its duration.
