Description

In the depths of the Ashen Forest, the silence becomes
deafening. The light slips between the leaves less and less as
the foliage grows thicker. The pinpricks of light flicker and
vanish as the woods trail deeper into the domain of
Graajchzrakil.

Located deep within a thick mass of shadows and branches,
Overlord Graajchzrakil is protected by a loathsome guard of
shadowtrolls that patrol the woods. Only the brave would
battle the soldiers of the Overlord of shadow and nightmares.

Notes

Much of this area is norecall, take care. Travelling through the initial maze can take you on a path to Shivvan the deity, but beware the shadowtroll.
News 1074

The infection from Shai'ghool will soon spread into the Ashen Forest if
something is not done.  I require aid to investigate what is transpiring there.

You say 'Graajchzrakil'
Lyrax the Keeper says 'Graajchzrakil once had a place in the Ashen Forest.  He turned that which had once lived back into the material of life.  Entropy and destruction has its place in the cycle.  '

Lyrax rests his hands on one of the towering ash trees, stroking the mane of moss that grows at its base.
Lyrax the Keeper says 'But after the Shattering, his ambition seemed to grow and he corrupted Shai'ghool.  He fashioned himself an Overlord and created a shadowtroll as his minion.'
Lyrax's brow creases and his face darkens.
Lyrax the Keeper says 'The wards I had placed here when his infection began are growing weaker. His corrosion seeks to ensnare all of the Ashen Forest, creating a vast imbalance.'

Lyrax the Keeper frowns.

Lyrax the Keeper says 'The initial infection was unexpected, but not unimaginable.  The weakening of the wards, this surge in power however is...surprising.  I wonder what foul well he is drawing upon for his 
newfound might.'

Lyrax the Keeper says 'Perhaps if I had three parts from the cycle of renewal, I could grow something to balance the travesty he has created in the woods.'

Lyrax the Keeper sits down and thinks deeply.

Lyrax the Keeper says 'It might need a final piece to bind it, something from a beast that regenerates...'

Lyrax the Keeper says 'Yes, I see it moving about, waiting for a fool to cross its path. '

Lyrax the Keeper says 'Well, I say it, it might be them.'

Lyrax the Keeper says 'I think for a long time there was only one, but now there may be more.  The shadows make it hard to tell.'
