Mages use this spell to erect an ethereal barrier about themselves. This lessens the chances of a Mage being struck in combat.
Information
It lowers (betters) the caster's armor class by 40 points. It costs 15 mana points, lasts about 1250 rounds at avatar level and cannot be casted upon others.
