cast weaken <victim> - Casting message:
<victim> labors weakly as your spell atrophies his muscles. - Receiving message: Your muscles seem to atrophy!
Help File
This spell reduces the strength of the victim by two points.
Information
Reduces strength by two points for the duration of the spell. This affects:
- The weight the victim can carry
- The weight of the weapon(s) the victim can wield. Overweight weapons are automatically unequipped.
- The victim's damroll
The only ways to get rid of weaken are to wait for it to run out or to cast dispel magic, which will remove all affects that are cast on you, otherwise you can counter its effect with equipments or spells that give you strenght. If your strenght is at its maximum you can gain a sort of immunity by "overmaxing" it (ie. wearing equipment that would give you more stranght points than your class' stat cap would allow).
When casting weaken on a mobile there seems to be a greater chance of the spell holding if you poison it first.
