Helpfile

This spell will provide the caster with a special
imbuement from their Deity, giving them stat related
bonuses, a resistance to poison and an overall
increase in their quaffing and casting speeds. A symbol
of faith is required.

The Cleric must be in good standing with their Deity to
cast it.

Information

  • Syntax: c 'visage of the deity'
  • Type: Support
  • Valid Targets: Self only
  • Cost: 300 mana
  • Other Effects: Applies the following attributes to the player for its duration: +1 dex, +1 con *I got different stats... So stats are probably dependent upon diety, -5 save vs. spell, -10 AC and haste (which enables you to quaff and cast faster).
  • Duration: 60 rds
  • Mininum stance: Standing
  • Restrictions: None

Spell Messages

  • When you successfully cast on yourself: You take on the attributes of a God as you are enhanced by the Visage of the Deity.
  • When you fail to cast on yourself: You failed.
  • When the spell expires: As Visage of the Deity ends, you feel less connected to your God.

Notes

Despite the help file mentioning a resistance to poison, it doesn't seem to actually give one. Requires a symbol of faith to cast successfully.
