The luminous aura about your body fades away. - Failure message:
You failed.
Help File
The SANCTUARY spell reduces the damage taken by the character from any attack by one half. Sanctuary and protection may be used simultaneously for cumulative effect.
Information
Sanctuary, commonly called 'sanc', is arguably the most important spell in the game. Most players don't go adventuring without it. It reduces all damage taken by 50%.
