Description
This man's clothes are dark buckskin; the garb of a ranger. His dark clothing would allow him to blend into the forest in themselves, but he also wears a dark green cloak, slung over his shoulders for comfort right now. The dark browns and dark green of his cloak would probably make him almost invisible if not for the fact that he were standing in this cave. A glint of gold draws your eyes to his neckline, where a golden torque wraps around his throat. Your gaze finally travels upward, past his neatly trimmed brown goatee, which covers his finely chiselled chin and up to his steel grey eyes. A sudden chill runs through your body as your very soul seems to be sucked into the depths of those two grey orbs...

Notes
Cernunnos isn't a hard fight, but it can be annoying. He disarms you, picks up your weapon and throws it out of the room. To avoid this, either blind him or use a weapon that he can't pick up. It just works off a few keywords ("sword", "blade", "spear" or "dagger") so some decent weapons escape it, notably the Maul of Stone, the tarrasque's Horn, a dragon fang and darkness. Cernunnos can't be poisoned, but you can use basically every other spelldown on him (which is a good idea), you should always blind and disarm him if you can. When he gets to almost dead, he punches, kicks and gouges, doing some extra damage.
Trials of Cernunnos
Upon completing the Embodiment of the Elder Druidae equipment set visit Cernunnos for an additional quest.
Cernunnos says to you, 'Playername.' Cernunnos says to you, 'I see you have spoken with the Great Druid in the form of a crow.' Cernunnos says to you, 'By freeing him, you have proven your druidic wisdom and benevolence.' Cernunnos says to you, 'You are now ready for a new series of tests.' Cernunnos peers at you quizzically. Cernunnos says to you, 'Do you feel that you are prepared for the challenge? If so, say yes.'
You say 'yes' Cernunnos says to you, 'A wise choice, Playername.' Cernunnos says to you, 'We shall see how true you are to the path of the Druid.' Cernunnos says to you, 'If you manage to pass my trials, I will reward you with knowledge and power.' Cernunnos stares at you intently. Cernunnos says to you, 'As you know, certain herbs and leaves are held in high regard by Druids.' Cernunnos says to you, 'Your first task will be to visit an old friend of mine, Dobra, the Eldest.' Cernunnos says to you, 'She lives within a cabin in the Forgotten Woods north of Darkhaven.' Cernunnos says to you, 'Purchase some peppermint leaves from her and bring them back to me.' Cernunnos turns away. Cernunnos says to you, 'If you should need me to repeat the details of your trial, ask me to do so.'
