Gold is the standard currency of RoD. It can be acquired either through killing, auctioning, midas touch, stealing or trading. There are even a few unorthodox approaches, such as casino bots.

Characters in RoD currently have a gold limit of 9,223,372,036,854,775,807. If you reach this limit, you will end up with negative gold and no immortal will correct this problem for you. In other words, it is your personal responsibility to monitor how much gold you have. With the current limit this should never be an issue.

As a command, gold will list the current amount you carry.

Syntax

  • gold
